In order to join a mixed ability class in January 2012, new clients need to complete a private 1-1 session or small group introductory course. The classes will introduce you to the basic principles of Pilates as well as allowing your teacher to get to know your specific needs. Places are limited so booking is essential. Please contact me to book your session and your place in a class.
MIXED ABILITY CLASSES AND PILATES EXPRESS
In these classes we attempt some of the classical pilates exercises. Building up strength and stamina over the term in order to achieve the challenge with good technique.
The mixed ability class lasts 1 hour plus relaxation time and is suitable for any level of ability. There’s time to really get to grips with the exercises in a relaxed atmosphere.
Pilates Express classes are 45 minutes long and suitable for any level of ability, the aim is to get your body in to alignment and start your day really well.
In order to join a class, please book a one to one session first. You will learn exercises to benefit your specific posture and some exercises that you need to understand in order to slot in to any of the classes.

PILATES FOR PREGNANCY
Pilates is very beneficial for each stage of pregnancy. The careful toning exercises help to prepare your changing body for the demands of later pregnancy, childbirth and life with a new baby. We also learn breathing and relaxation techniques that are very useful to have up your sleeve!
I hold all of the available Body Control certification in teaching Pilates for Pregnancy, but it’s still a good idea to check with your GP or midwife before you join this course.

One to one private tuition
£30 for 1 hour private tuition, at your home at a time convenient for you. Get a postural assessment and exercises designed to help rebalance your body and improve your posture. If you’ve been coming to classes, a 1 to 1 class will help refine your technique and increase the beneficial results that you get from regular classes.
What should I bring and what should I wear?
All mats and equipment provided. Please wear clothes that you can move in, but not too loose. Your teacher needs to be able to see your alignment so please avoid baggy t-shirts.
